Set on the edge of Downswood, The Orchard looks out onto open fields. When you pull into the ample car park the pub is the most obvious part of the building - when you get inside it soon becomes apparent that there is a stylish restaurant and a large function suite.

Whilst our design skills have given a slightly oriental feel to the decor, some of the timbers are thought to date back to Viking times, maintaining a traditional atmosphere as well. Outside we have a specially designed play area for the children, allowing mum and dad to have a real family day out.

The Orchard Restaurant offers fantastic value in great surroundings. Whether you are looking for a business lunch without having to fight Maidstone traffic or simply a family meal we extend a warm welcome to all.

With the recent media attention to our children's diets, we have also developed the children's menu with the focus on fresh food.
